I spent the day working with Ian again. We did some easy jobs in the morning then in the afternoon we dropped around his friend Steve's house to play with a little digger called a Dingo and move some ridiculously heavy stone statues that Steve had shipped over from Malaysia. It was pretty good fun. There are photos on facebook if you're interested. In the afternoon we did a few more jobs and called it a day at about five.
I also applied for a job at a local cafe called the dome. The application form was a complete joke, asking questions like "describe yourself in five words" and "complete the following sentence: my goal is to...". In a superhuman feat of self control I managed to avoid putting joke answers for all the questions and filled it in semi-seriously. Frankly if they don't hire me based on the beautiful piece of architectured writing that I eventually submitted they are complete morons.
We made pizzas tonight. I am about to go eat one. Speak later.
