A day at work

I had my first day of my new job today. It's pretty much monkey work as I expected but the guy I'm working with (Evan) is awesome. He is a recent Music graduate from a uni in Perth and he's working off his student debt, he seems like a good laugh. I pretty much call my own working hours so I'm gonna blitz it this week and do long shifts to earn some money fast. A geophysicist called Ben is coming to check our progress on Thursday so I will have a chance to chat to him about something potentially a bit more serious in the mining industry. It pays to talk to everyone, you never know who could wind up setting you up with some decent work or knowing someone else that can.

I got lost on the way home and ended up driving around Perth for a while. It was ok though, I had a map and figured out where I was eventually. I also uploaded a few photos to facebook, check them out!
