Today I went down to Freo with Ian, Jenny and Josh for dinner. I had marinated kangaroo. The texture is kind of like beef but the taste is unique. It was pretty good. The nightlife in Freo is just... wow. Seeing as it doesnt drop below 30 in the evenings the dress code is very appropriate as well, guys you know what Im talking about ;-). I had a chat with one of Ians mates there, he has a nephew who is also over on a working holiday visa. I got his number, Ill see if he wants to get a beer soon or something. He also offered me a job doing field work so I will call him on monday about that.
I also have a job interview for something potentially very exciting on monday afternoon. Amazing what a couple of phone calls to the right people can get you. I wont say any more details right now in case it falls through but its looking good so far.
I am moving into Freo for a while after next week Ive decided. I need to get involved with some beach parties :-D
