I'm writing this at midday today just to make one very important point about Australia.
The flies. They are everywhere. You imagine your stereotypical Australian with his wide-brimmed hat and shorts on, continuously slapping flies away with one hand whilst shaking yours with the other. That's what it's like. I have never seen so many flies. They are everywhere. Whenever I leave the house I am continuously followed by a cloud of them. They don't bite, they just land on you until you slap them away. Apparently this is just the start of fly season as well. God help me.
mate if you shower they'll leave you alone.
ReplyDeleteTried it already. Doesn't work. I have now stopped showering completely in the hope the smell might eventually get so bad it actually drives them away.
